“Let us all remember, now in the presence of one another, that our memories are enough. May we love to remind each other to partake of dinner without pause for a clicking shutter or a scribbling pen. Stay here, drink more wine, and let the memories of a time exist by themselves within you, and between you and the others. And may your art be a sincere reflection of what already exists, not a post of projection for what we desire.” – Kinfolk Magazine, Volume 4, Undocumented Hours.
This is the feeling that I wish to convey to you. A wedding is about the time you spend with family and friends to celebrate one of the most important days of your life. I do not expect anyone to pause for a photograph. Staying as inconspicuous as possible to capture the intimate, emotional moments is the most important job that I could be honored with. I like to focus on these intimate moments because they express emotions that you cannot replicate. These are the intimate moments you will want documented for the rest of your life. I may not have won any major photography awards, I may not have been featured in any big magazines, but what I have done is captured moments for couples like you exactly how you remembered them.
